It is with great sadness that we report the passing of one of APBA’s most influential members, Mark Wheeler, on Saturday, May 22nd in a testing accident. Mark was an APBA Past President, Honor Squadron Member, Honorary Life Member, Modified Chairman, Junior Classes Chairman, referee, ally, friend, the list goes on and on. He leaves behind shoes that can never be filled and a hole in our hearts. Our thoughts are with the Wheeler family and the entire boat racing community. We feel your loss deeply and we share it with you. We are always here for you.
