BURLEY • After winning the 1-Litre Hydroplanes class at last year’s Idaho Regatta, Jeff Bernard returned this weekend to prove he’s the king of the Snake.
Gold Cup Free Friday is back
The DYC Detroit APBA Gold Cup, presented by Jarvis Property Restoration, proudly announces the return of Free Friday courtesy of Made In Detroit and American Badass Beer. The sponsorship from the two Michigan-based companies restores the 104th annual event to a three-day schedule running July 12-14; the 2013 races had previously been slated to be condensed into two days due to budget constraints.

Boys and Girls it’s 2013 and time to go racing. The 1-Litre Mods along with, JSS, SE Flatbottoms, OPC and J Class/AXR made the warm trip down to Florida for this great race. Gene Engle and crew put on a top notch event and truly try to cater to every class to make sure the whole race day goes smoothly, and it did with a boat cout of 35.
