It was a hot one on Saturday. Heat index hit a ripe 107! Even though it was hot, we had 6 rookie drivers join us! We hosted our own club event - the Yamato Main Event (anyone with a Yamato can race). Our drivers school racer even won our Yamato Main event and beat Ryan Burdick and Dan Keylard.

SUNDAY

Due to the weather we ended up packing up early on Sunday. But we finished 2 of our 3 sets! In those two sets we had one racer earn their first-ever win in CSH. Congratulations to James Shallcross! Our heat index yesterday also hit a high of 109, so we were a little excited to see some wind come our way! We are so pumped for Springfield, OH for the Central Divisionals and hope everyone can come out and make it! Also, while Race Director Mikey Pavlick was doing his thing, he took the time to slow down and teach the little Burdick boys how to flag.
