On Tuesday morning, September, 22 2015, the American Power Boat Association held its Annual Meeting in Eastpointe, Mich., to announce the winners of the 2015 elections. This year we received 2,583 votes divided between 10 candidates and 17 write-ins. Below are the Annual Meeting minutes.

On Tuesday morning, September, 23 2014, the American Power Boat Association held its Annual Meeting in Eastpointe, Mich., to announce the winners of the 2014 elections. This year we received 1783 votes divided between 13 candidates and 20 write-ins. Below are the Annual Meeting minutes.
Dan Wiener resigned as APBA’s Executive Director on April 28. Dan’s resignation provided APBA with the opportunity to examine and reallocate the functions within APBA headquarters. As a result of this careful analysis, Ryan Berlin has been named Director of Operations for the American Power Boat Association; the Executive Director position will not be filled.
DRG Motorsports and the American Power Boat Association announced a multi-race Nationwide Series associate sponsorship for the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series season.
Earlier today Dan Wiener resigned as APBA’s Executive Director. Dan will be greatly missed and we wish him well in his future endeavors. During the search for an Interim Executive Director, APBA President Mark Wheeler and APBA Vice President Dutch Squires will jointly assume the duties of Executive Director. Those wishing to be considered for the position of Interim Executive Director should contact President Wheeler at president@apba.org.
