The 2015 Quake on the Lake American Powerboat Association (APBA) Inboard Hydroplane Summer Nationals will return to thePontiac Lake State Recreation Area with “boat loads” of fun and enjoyment for the entire family July 18-19.
More than 80 racing teams from across the country and Canadawill compete for world championship points, the Governor’s Cup and new records as they skip over the water at speeds in excess of 150 miles per hour on one of the fastest one mile courses in America.
Over the past 15 years, 19 APBA world speed records have been set in five different racing classes. More records are expected to be set this year.
