HINTON — Austin Price of Haymarket, Va., is two years away from getting his driver’s license, but he still has the need for speed.
Price,14, is a fourth-generation power boat racer, currently competing at the Travis Pond Memorial CVRA Southeast Division races on Bluestone Lake.
“It’s pretty cool to follow in their footsteps,” Price said.
While Price is following a long line of racers, he’s blazing his own course. He won the J-Runabout division National Championship at just 12 years old and the J-Hydro at age 13.
