Cullaby Lake boat racing competitive, fun

CULLABY LAKE, OR - The Columbia Outboard Racing Association’s annual Cullaby Lake Mark Moberly Memorial Regatta for hydroplane and runabout boats drew a crowd to the Warrenton waterway June 23 and 24.

“We have folks from Oregon, California, Washington and Canada,” said Mike Johnson, the race director. “It is competitive racing, it is fun and it is also a great family sport. We have generations that have been racing together."

Johnson said the attraction is the difference the racing offers.
