MOREHEAD CITY — The 2012 Crystal Coast Grand Prix (CCGP) ended with a bang Sunday with team Livorsi finishing first in the 2012 P1 SuperStock USA National Championship.
Though team Livorsi hit a rough patch during competition Sunday when the boat flipped in the second heat of the CCGP and was unable to compete in heats three and four, the team pulled out an overall first-place finish due to a strong showing throughout the season.
Team Livorsi entered the CCGP after recording a third-place finish in the season-opener in St. Cloud, Fla., but followed their debut performance up with three first place showings, in Biloxi, Miss., Pittsburgh, Pa., and Detroit, Mich.
