: SPECIAL BULLETIN, 9/18/09 - CORRECTION IN POINTS ON OCT. 17: World Championships will run on Sat., Oct. 17. In any event of a delay on Saturday, World Championships will carry over to Sunday, Oct. 18. One and 1/2 points on Oct. 17 on World Championships, Single points on Oct. 18.
: SPECIAL BULLETIN, 9/18/09 - IN ADDITION TO THE PRIZE MONEY STATED ON THIS SANCTION, THE NEW ORLEANS POWER BOAT ASSOCIATION WILL PAY $100 IN TOW MONEY TO EACH BOAT MAKING A LEGAL START. DUAL REGISTRATION DOES NOT APPLY.

$30,000 Prize money - $300 to legal starters as Tow Money, based on 75 boat count. Example: 75 boats @ $300 per boat, remainder to be divided amongst 12 classes - 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100 based on overall points for week-end. Dual registration does not apply. Trophies will be awarded for first thru third results of World Championship Event only. Awards presentation one hour after last heat on Sunday at `Old Judges Stand` in pit area pending approval of inspection.

$125 for 2 days of racing. A full entry fee is required for each class entered. Duel registration does not apply.
A late entry fee of $35.00 will be assessed for an entry postmarked or e-mailed later than 10/7/2009.

- CELL TRAINING will be held 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009 at Days Inn, poolside. *** - APBA Inboard Dress Code and Pit Pass procedures will be strictly enforced. *** - All boats must have slings to launch. NO float-offs. *** - Any questions, please contact Oren Dupre 985/498-2926 or e26dupre@bellsouth.net . *** - Pit facilities secured, minimum of three (3) cranes, New Docks; Air bottles filled on site. *** - Saturday NIGHT PIT PARTY at `Old Judges Stand` approx. 6:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. - Cajun Food & Music.

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
