Off of I-5 take exit #230. Head west on WA20 for 12 miles then left onto WA20 for 13.8 miles.
THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS ARE FOR THE TRAILER LAUNCH BOATS (1401 SE Catalina Dr, Oak Harbor, WA 98277)
After the two airplanes on the right-----continue to the crest of the hill take a left onto NE Regatta Dr. NE Regatta Dr. turns into SE Regatta Dr. continue to the water. Turn left at the stop sign onto SE Pioneer Way. Go to 1401 SE Catalina Dr. Turn right. The marina is on the right, go to the end of the road for the launch.

THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS ARE FOR THE HYDRO PITS (Flintstone Park, SE Dock St, Oak Harbor, WA 98277)
Follow WA20 all the way into town. Turn left onto SE Pioneer Way, go to SE City Beach St. turn right, go to SE Bayshore DR. turn left--continue to the Flintstone Park hydro pits. Continue on SE Bayshore for parking and camping on the left just before the road turns left.

1. This is an all-volunteer event. Participants will be expected to help with setup, tear-down and other tasks as needed.
2. APBA dress code will be enforced.
3. The Referee has the authority to require any participant to submit to a drug and/or alcohol test which may be administered one half-hour before the drivers meeting to one half-hour after the final heat of the day per APBA General Racing Rules.
4. Club will retain first entry fee to cover race costs in case of a weather blow-off.
5. No boats in crane pits until the crane is in place. Pit parking may be limited. No camping in pit area.
6. All boats are to remain in the pit area until the end of racing on Sunday unless otherwise approved by the Race Director.
7. Cold Pit entry will be $10 per person or $20 per family, for the weekend or free with club or APBA membership card. Children under 12 admitted free.
8. All minors must have a legal guardian (over the age of 18) sign a liability release in order to enter the Cold Pits. Liability releases with a legal guardian signature must be notarized if not signed at the event
9. The boat dock and crane operating area is a designated Hot Pit and is restricted to APBA members only. The dock is limited to two crew persons per boat.
10. No open toe shoes allowed in Cold or Hot Pits
11. No skateboards in any pit areas. Scooters and other motorized PTVs must be approved by the Race Director before being used in the Cold Pit area. No wheeled vehicles allowed in the Hot Pits.
12. No smoking in Cold or Hot Pits at any time.
13. No dogs in Hot Pits.
14. No alcohol consumption or drug use allowed in pits.
15. Classes with fewer than three boats may be combined.
16. A last chance format may be used on classes with more than 10 boats.
17. Enclosed trailers will only be parked in the Cold Pit with approval from the race committee as space is limited.
18. Pop up tents may not restrict crane visibility in pits during racing.
19. Inboard and Vintage safety inspections will start Friday at 4PM in the pit area (or as soon as the inspectors arrive).. It is the responsibility of each Inboard owner to come to the safety inspection with a safety inspection sheet filled out to the extent possible. The inspection sheet may be downloaded at www.apba.org. The Vintage Inspector will provide the inspection form for Vintage boats.
20. Boats arriving on Saturday may or may not be inspected prior to the start of the event.
21. Fuel in designated areas only.
22. Team members shall have one person connect and disconnect the trailer from the tow vehicle in the rolling pits.
23. Saturday is a Babcock race, Will be Sunday if blown off on Saturday.
24. The Fire Dept. will provide a fire hose at the hydro side with multiple fittings-- Bring your own long hose.

This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
