HYDRO PITS & CAMPING AREA* - Will be at Evergreen Shores Beach Club, 7540 Lakeside St. SW, Olympia, WA 98512. From I-5 North or South, take exit #104 US101. Take Black Lake Blvd. exit. Black Lake Blvd turns into 62nd Ave SW. Turn left onto Nels St SW. Turn left onto 69th Ave SW. Turn right onto Lakeside St SW. 1/2 mile on the left is Evergreen Shores.

One parking pass per team on Saturday and Sunday.

All RVs and tents need to be pre-registered. Email your reservation request and size of RV to Mike Waters at waterboy@reachone.com.. Cell number 360-791-3242.

Motorhome / Trailer and tow vehicle =$100 for the weekend.
Truck and Camper = $75 for the weekend.
Tent Camping (one free vehicle) = $50 for the weekend.
ONE PARKING PASS PER TEAM FOR AN ADDITIONAL VEHICLE.
Additional general parking is $20 per vehicle for the weekend and will be on a space-available basis due to the tight site.

The park gate will open at 12:00 pm on Friday. Vehicles arriving early will not be admitted and will need to park on the street.

1.25-miles. 4 laps for a total of 5 miles. Approved for records. (Western side start line)

1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies from combined points from Saturday and Sunday. Saturday participants will receive Region 10 Babcock Memorial points. Vintage will receive an engraved participation tag. Trophies will follow teardown at gazebo at Evergreen Shores.

THIS IS NOT THE SCHEDULE- The schedule will be determined Saturday morning at Drivers Meeting.

1. This is an all-volunteer event. Participants will be expected to help with setup, tear-down and other tasks as needed.
2. APBA dress code will be enforced.
3. The Referee has the authority to require any participant to submit to a drug and/or alcohol test which may be administered one half-hour before the drivers meeting to one half-hour after the final heat of the day per APBA General Racing Rules.
4. Club will retain first entry fee per hull to cover race costs in case of a weather blow-off.
5. No boats in crane pits until the crane is in place. Pit parking may be limited. No camping in pit area.
6. All boats are to remain in the pit area until the end of racing on Sunday unless otherwise approved by the Race Director.
7. Cold Pit entry will be $10 per person or $20 per family, for the weekend or free with club or APBA membership card. Children under 12 admitted free.
8. All minors must have a legal guardian (over the age of 18) sign a liability release in order to enter the Cold Pits. Liability releases with a legal guardian signature must be notarized if not signed at the event
9. The boat dock and crane operating area is a designated a Hot Pit and is restricted to APBA members only and limited to two crew persons per boat.
10. No open toe shoes allowed in Cold or Hot Pits
11. No skateboards in any pit areas. Scooters and other motorized PTVs must be approved by the Race Director before being used in the Cold Pit area. No wheeled vehicles allowed in the Hot Pits.
12. No smoking in Cold or Hot Pits at any time.
13. No dogs in Cold or Hot Pits.
14. No underage alcohol consumption or drug use allowed in pits.
15. Classes with fewer than 3 boats may be combined.
16. A last chance format may be used on classes with more than 10 boats.
17. Enclosed trailers will only be parked in the Cold Pit with approval from the race committee as space is limited.
18. Pop up tents may not restrict crane visibility in pits during racing.
19. Inboard and Vintage safety inspections will start Friday at 4PM in the pit area. It is the responsibility of each Inboard owner to come to the safety inspection with a safety inspection sheet filled out to the extent possible. The inspection sheet may be downloaded at www.apba.org. The Vintage Inspector will provide the inspection form for Vintage boats.
20. Boats arriving on Saturday may or may not be inspected prior to the start of the event.
21. Fuel in designated areas only.
22. Cut-resistant prop covers shall be used per APBA GSR 31.
23.The Evergreen Shores gate will be locked at 11pm on Friday and Saturday. No departures or arrivals will be permitted. Contact person at Evergreen Shores will be Mike Waters.
24. Each race team will receive one pass for a tow vehicle.
25. No passes will be sold at the flat bottom/trailer launch gate. Carpools are encouraged as parking space is very limited. Absolutely no parking on the right side of the road heading to the water.
26.No camping in the flat bottom pits*
27.Fire code prohibits parking along the fence down or at the bottom of the hill at the flat bottom pits. Violators will be towed at owner expense.
28.Saturday is a Babcock race, Will be Sunday if blown off on Saturday.
