1) Exhibition/Boat Show on the water in front of Riverside Park Friday May 26th; 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Top finishers from Boatnik
2022 will make parade laps in front of the park prior to the Fireworks Show. Hydroplanes first, followed by sprint boats. The
show will culminate with one drag boat starting its motor for the crowd, then idling back to the pit area. This is Exhibition Only,
No racing.
2) Hydroplane Test and Tune - Saturday May 27th 3:00pm-5:00pm at Griffin Park
3) Inboard Drag Boat Exhibition - Saturday and Sunday May 27th and 28th, 2023, 12:30pm to 6 PM each day. Boats run a set 1/4-mile course in front of Riverside Park. Each boat will make two to three passes per day. Boats run one at a time.
4) Hydroplane Practice - Sunday May 28th, 2023, 10 AM to 11:00am. Course is Riverside Park to Park Riffle and back, total
distance approximately 3/4 mile.
5) Whitewater Hydroplane Race - Monday May 29, 2023, 10 AM to 4 PM, Course Riverside Park to Taylor Creek, 23 miles
down river. Two leg race format. All participating boats must be staged at Riverside Park by 12:00pm.
6) Jet River Racers - Riverside Park to Taylor Creek with 6 legs total. See schedule on boatnik.com for further details.

Hydros - mass start, Sprints - flagged start, Drags - light start, Jet River Racers - staged flag start 1 min intervals

Rescue teams provided by; Josephine County Sheriff Department, Oregon State Marine Board, American Medical Response, Rural Metro Fire Department and Josephine County Search and Rescue.

Novice Jr. Exhibition to bring exposure to the program. We will space boats on course and have 1-2 boats at a time on a closed circular course in front of spectator area. Boats will make 3-5 laps each. Total of 2-4 boats participating.

For the Hydroplane event: The approved 2023 oil rule is in effect that states only Mercury, Chevron or Amsoil oils are legal. They must be rated TCW3. Also, fuel must pass the Digatron fuel checker with a negative reading. Fuel cannot contain any alcohol. All participating boats must be staged at Riverside Park by 12:00pm.

Fuel and oil will be provided at owners expense and mixed in
the presence of the inspector then the tank will be checked and
sealed.
