Interstate 99 (North or South) exit 178 East. Turn left on Alfred Harrell Hwy to Lake Ming Road. Make right and follow to Lake.

Please call (866) 527-1498 to get the racer rate $85/night (single or double occupancy), must use code "SCSC Boat Race". Rooms are limited and on a 1st come, 1st serve basis so make your reservations today. Drop dead date for racer rate rooms (if not already sold out) is 2/8/2013.

J Classes, Stock,I,IE,OPC (except SST-45) COR, 1100R and Nostalgia approx. 1 1/4 mile course.
J Classes/Stock/1100R: 3 lap heats. Qualifiers if necessary.
Inboard/OPC/COR/Nostalgia/GPS95/Comp Jet: 4 lap heats, qualifiers per Inboard rule book if necessary.
GN approx 1 1/4 course- 2 ~ 10 lap qualifiers & 20 laps final
SST-45 approx 7/8 mile course - 2 ~ 10 lap qualifiers & 25 lap final.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be distributed on Sunday, March 3rd approximately 1 hour after the last heat at the Judges Stand.

Mandatory Pre-Registration due no later than Wednesday, February 27th. Questions call (818) 894-3759 or email jdsjmom@aol.com Late Registration on Race Days (Friday/Sat) will be able to add/scratch classes prior to driver's meeting each day. Late Registration fee is $25/class/day and will not be waived for out of town drivers. Racer check in is Friday, 3/1 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Judges Stand at Lake Ming. Sat. racer check in 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. (sharp) PST at Judges Stand. You can join APBA & SCSC on-site. Must have completely filled out paperwork prior to getting in line. Go to www.apba-racing.com and www.scscracing.com to print membership application(s) race entry. Complete sign, witness and have checks ready payable to APBA and SCSC. No Credit cards taken for APBA memberships on-site (per APBA).

J Classes: $50/day
Stock Classes & 1100R: $80/day 1st class, $50/day 2nd class & $30/day 3rd class. Family plan is 3 plus classes, 2 or more drivers from same family, $300/weekend (excludes OPC).
I/IE/OPC/COR/Nostalgia: $100/day (weekend fee for SST-45 and GN is $200). 2nd class fee for I/IE/OPC is $80/day.
$20/boat for I/IE admin fund(s).

Saturday is S.O. Winternationals for all S.O. Hydrplane classes and Sunday is the S.O. Winternationals for all S.O. Runabout Classes.
Visit www.scscracing.com for event details. Camping fee: $50/vehicle/day at Park Rangers discretion. Bring Cash for County of Kern, they do not accept checks. Money will be collected on-site. Note: If enclosed race trailer/toy hauler has sleeping area you will be charged as a camper whether you stay in it or not per Kern County Parks Dept. All Stock outboards/J Class boats must have a tarp/mat/etc. to place under their engine while parked on the grass in the pits. Absolutely NO fuel is to be left on-site. No Crane launching, Buoys/flare charges: $250 for any large A-6 buoy destroyed and $150 for any medium A-4 buoy destroyed regardless of fault. A $15/flare charge to driver's causing unnecessary flares. Driver's pay attention and watch the flags. Eliminations: Inboard classes needing elims-per rule book, "last chance qualifier format may be used" Stock outboard last chance qualifier maybe used to determine final field. Legal heats take priority and classes may be combined at discretion of race committee. PITS: Keep non-racing vehicles/equip. parked out of way during race days. Food & Beverages available each day in Pits. Drivers must show club card at registration. Join SCSC, $20/year on-site.

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
