SPECIAL BULLETIN: Atchafalaya Eastern Divisionals May 24-25-26, 2008, three separate days of racing. Divisional racing day will be decided on site by the Race Planning Committee. You must be present and willing to race all three days to receive MCPBA tow monies. All other Race Circular information remaings unchanged. Triple and a half Points Weekend. - (3) separate race days: Sat. 5/24, single points day. Sun. 5/25, single points day. Mon. 5/26, one and a half points day. Saturday, May 24, 2008 01000-Inboard (all classes) 5 mile/4 lap Sunday, May 25, 2008 01000-Inboard (all classes) 5 mile/4 lap Monday, May 26, 2008 01000-Inboard (all classes) 5 mile/4 lap - EASTERN DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP


$30,000 Prize money - $300 to legal starters as Tow Money, based on 75 boat count. Example: 75 boats @ $300 per boat, remainder to be divided amongst 13 classes - 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, 3rd place $100 based on overall points for week-end. Dual registration does not apply. Trophies will be awarded for first thru third results of Eastern Divisionals Event only. Awards presentation one hour after last heat on Monday at `Old Judges Stand` in pit area pending approval of inspection.
Additional $100 in Tow Money to be presented from the New Orleans Power Boat Association to all boats making a legal start in any of the scheduled heats.

$125 for 3 days of racing. A full entry fee is required for each class entered.
A late entry fee of $25 will be assessed for an entry postmarked or e-mailed later than 5/15/08.

- CELL TRAINING will be held 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2008 at race headquarters, Days Inn, poolside.
- APBA Inboard Dress Code and Pit Pass procedures will be strickly enforced.
- All boats must have slings to launch. NO float-offs.

- Pit facilities secured, minimum of three (3) cranes, New Docks; Air bottles filled on site.

This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
