HYDROPLANE EXTREME SERIES - MACH SERIES EVENT
1 Litre, 1.5 Litre Stock, 2.5 Litre Stock, 2.5 Litre Modified, 5 Litre, National Modified, Grand National Hydroplane
HYDRO HOT LAPS: Each day we will be running Hydro Hot Laps. The boat in each class that turns the fastest lap will receive $100 per day. You will get one attempt and one lap each day. Futher details will be given at Drivers' Meeting. You must be registered by 8:00 am sharp to enter the Hydro Hot Lap competition.
INVITATIONAL SHOOTOUT (No Points): 1 Litre and 2.5 Litre Stock (4 - 5 boats each class - maximum 12 boats.)
SPECIAL EVENT: VINTAGE
Inboard: 1.5 Litre Stock, 1 Litre Modified, 2.5 Litre Modified, National Modified and GNH - $750 per class per day:
1 - 30%, 2 - 25%, 3 - 20%, 4 - 15%, 5 - 10%
2.5 Litre Stock and 5 litre classes will be paid 60% Tow Money and 40% prize Money, per Extreme Series payout formula.
Trophies awarded for 1, 2, & 3 per class overall for the weekend.
5 boats needed in each class for full prize money. Race Committee may combine classes.
SPECIAL AWARDS: Ohio State Governor's Cup will be awarded to the Inboard Hydroplane that earns the most points in ALL heats and that has a minimum of 5 boats registered both Saturday and Sunday. If there is a tie in points, the boat coming clsest to or exceeding their class record will win the trophy.
