1. Club will retain first entry fee per hull to cover race costs in case of a weather blow-off.
2. This is an all-volunteer event. Participants will be expected to help with set-up, tear-down and other tasks as needed. Tasks will be assigned to each class.
3. No Boats in crate pits until the crane is in place. No camping in pit area.
4. Enclosed trailers will only be parked in the Cold Pit with approval from the race committee as space is limited.
5. All boats are to remain in the pit area until the end of racing on Sunday unless otherwise approved by the Race Director.
6. Cut-resistant prop covers shall be used per APBA GSR 31.
7. Fuel in designated areas only
8. Pop up tents may not restrict crane visibility in pits during racing.
9. Inboard and Vintage safety inspections will start Friday at 4PM in the pit area or as soon as the inspectors arrive). It is the responsibility of each Inboard owner to come to the safety inspection with a safety inspection sheet filled out to the extent possible. The inspection sheet may be downloaded at www.apba.org. The Vintage Inspector will provide the inspection form for Vintage boats.
10. Boats arriving on Saturday shall be inspected prior to the start of the event.
11. The boat dock and crane operating area is a designated Hot Pit and is restricted to APBA members only. The dock is limited to two crew persons per boat.
12. The Referee has the authority to require any participant to submit to a drug and/or alcohol test which may be administered one half-hour before the drivers meeting to one half-hour after the final heat of the day per APBA General Racing Rules.
13. APBA dress code will be enforced.
14. Classes with fewer than three (3) boats may be combined.
15. A last chance format may be used on classes with more than ten (10) boats.
16. All minors must have a legal guardian (over the age of 18) sign a liability release in order to enter the Cold Pits. Liability releases with a legal guardian signature must be notarized if not signed at the event
17. No open toe shoes allowed in Cold or Hot Pits
18. No skateboards in any pit areas. Scooters and other motorized PTVs must be approved by the Race Director before being used in the Cold Pit area. No wheeled vehicles are allowed in the Hot Pits.
19. No smoking in Cold or Hot Pits at any time.
20. No dogs in Hot Pits.
21. No alcohol consumption or drug use allowed in pits.
22. Saturday is a Babcock race, Will be Sunday if blown off on Saturday.
This Regatta is sanctioned through APBA
An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
