Power Boat Racing Rescue

Fri. 3/18 and Sat. 3/19 - INBOARD EASTERN DIVISIONALS

$10,000 to be divided equally among all legal starters, payable as 1st place = 40%; 2nd place, 30%; 3rd place, 20%; 4th place, 10%.
Example: with 100 boats entered, each would receive $100 with 8 boats entered in a class, $800 would be divided as:
1st place, $320; 2nd place, $240; 3rd place, $160; 4th place, $80. Prize money will be paid on an overall basis for three days of competition.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st thru 3rd place for results of the Eastern Divisional event only.
Tow money: $20,000 to be paid: Boats traveling less than 300 miles one way will receive $100. Remaining monies to be divided among all other boats not to exceed $200 per boat. Dual registration does not apply.

Your boat must be safety inspected prior to registration. Please bring completed safety inspection form with you to registration.

$100.00 for three days of racing, with $50.00 going to the Inboard Administrative Fund, and $5.00 going to Region 9. A full entry fee is required for each class entered. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed for an entry postmarked or emailed later than 3/8/05.

TESTING:
Friday, March 18 - 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Testing will resume following the Drivers' Meeting until noon with the first heat starting at 12:30 PM. Time permitting, testing will again resume 15 minutes after the final heat of racing.
Saturday, March 19 - 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. First heat to begin at noon. Boats must be inspected and driver/owner must be registered prior to testing. Maximum of 3 laps per boat. Testing will be conducted in waves with classes determined once a final boat count is known.
CELL TRAINING: Will be held Thursday, March 17 - place and time to be determined. Updated information will be posted on goboatracing.net as it becomes available.
Boats are to be brought to the pits immediately following registration and inspection on Thursday. The pits will be fully secured overnight.
APBA Inboard Dress Code and Pit Pass Procedures will be strictly enforced.
All boats must have slings to launch. No float-offs.

An exhibition may be performed at this event pursuant to all APBA General Safety Rules provided that proper waivers and membership forms have been completed. All prizes are the responsibility of the conducting Club. APBA does not guarantee nor is it responsible for payment of prizes. You are advised that this event may be canceled prior to the race due to circumstances beyond the control of this association. If you plan to travel a long distance, it is recommended that you contact the race sponsor prior to your departure to ensure this event will take place.
